Data Analyst

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in data analytics or related field, preferably in a startup environment
• Deep knowledge of SQL for deep ad hoc analyses as well as routine reporting
• Basic understanding of the Bitcoin protocol, including how the blockchain and mempool work
• Skilled storyteller with ability to present analysis to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Creative thinking blended with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Find solutions for complex problems using data from internal and external sources
• Drive actionable insights to various stakeholders to aid strategic decisions for improvements across product and operations
• Identify product and operational weaknesses and help innovate new processes to promote efficiencies
• Create scheduled reports using BI and product analytics tooling
• Demonstrate resourcefulness, pragmatism and a roll-up-the-sleeves mentality
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
• Balance both short term and long term initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of data modeling using structured tooling such as DBT
• Experience with BigQuery
• Product Analytics experience, e.g. with Amplitude or Mixpanel
• Knowledge of A/B testing and product experimentation
• Experience with Jupyter notebooks, Python or R
