Summary

The job is for a Database Support Specialist at SugarCRM in Romania. The role involves supporting database design, implementation, and maintenance on MS SQL Server databases, automating data extraction from accounting systems, and troubleshooting issues. The employee will work cohesively with other departments, document solutions, and continuously learn about the products.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience with MSSQL SQL Server; concentrations in writing T-SQL and troubleshooting data imports
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Work well in a team environment
• Good ETL knowledge of different SQL based accounting systems: like Sage, Dynamics, Epicor
• Good MS Office knowledge (Particularly Excel)
• Able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
• Good planning, scheduling and organization skills
• Communicate technical solutions to non-technical people
• An ability to learn new software systems

Responsibilities

• Provide support for database design, implementation, and maintenance on MS SQL Server databases
• Automate the extraction/receipt of key data from accounting systems and import via a series of flat files in a pre-defined format into our product
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation, implementation, and production issues and maintain customer database extractions to ensure the Service utilizes up to date customer data
