Summary

Join Talon.One as a Data Analyst and be responsible for all kinds of analysis within the company, working closely with stakeholders across various departments. You will define KPIs, create data use cases, and collaborate with the data team to improve the data warehouse. Your focus will be on Product and Customer Success, creating advanced analytics and reporting using tools like Looker. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving Looker models and collaborating to enable self-service analytics. This role offers the opportunity to work with a modern data stack and learn new skills and technologies. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in data analytics, proficiency in SQL, and experience with dashboarding tools.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the field of data analytics, ideally with some B2B SaaS experience
  • Advanced experience with dashboarding tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Metabase etc.), knowledge of how to design, build, and maintain a data model
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Good understanding of business analytics
  • You are curious and passionate about data, and would like to widen your knowledge of the modern data stack and learn new skills and technologies
  • Experience in collaboration with stakeholders and translating business requirements into data specifications, dashboards, automated processes, especially in the field of Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Tech departments
  • Proactiveness to carry out advanced analysis towards better and business-driven decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Improve business processes and empower the stakeholders to make better decisions by defining KPIs and coming up with analysis ideas that would benefit the departments
  • Be the connector between the business stakeholders and the data team: align on data strategy, define business use cases, work with the data engineers to grow the DWH, and improve the models
  • Create advanced analysis on Looker (or other tools like Google Colab for Python analysis), deliver them to the stakeholders, maintain them, and ensure they are being used the right
  • Be the owner of the Looker models, test them, and make them grow by developing new measures, dimensions, and business logic
  • Collaborate across all departments to enable self-service analytics, improve the reporting in place, develop automated processes, and specify new business use cases

Preferred Qualifications

BigQuery, DBT, Python, Looker are a plus
