Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or fraud analytics roles, preferably in e-commerce, fintech, or digital goods
- Strong command of SQL for querying large datasets and building insightful reports
- Familiarity with key fraud KPIs, detection metrics, and prevention strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and curious mindset
- Strong communication skills β able to translate complex insights into clear, actionable messages
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities and ambiguous challenges
Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale fraud and transaction data to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor fraud KPIs and detect unusual behavior in real-time
- Support the development of fraud detection models and scoring mechanisms using historical and live data
- Collaborate with fraud operations, engineering, and product teams to implement risk prevention strategies
- Drive improvements in fraud case triage processes through automation and data-driven insights
- Conduct deep dives into fraud incidents to understand root causes and inform future risk mitigation tactics
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support to stakeholders across product, finance, and customer support
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with fraud detection tools or platforms (e.g., nSure, Sift, Signifyd) is a plus
- Python experience for data analysis and manipulation and basic modeling is a bonus
