Summary
Join Emergent Software as a Senior Data Architect and contribute to a dynamic team of data engineering professionals designing and implementing database projects for clients. This fully remote position requires significant experience developing data warehouses and analytical database solutions in Microsoft Azure. As a self-starter with excellent communication skills, you will manage work across numerous clients and priorities. Requirements
- 10+ years of database development & architecture experience
- 5+ years of experience with Azure database projects
- Ability to discuss potential data solutions with clients in the pre-sales process
- Data warehouse design using medallion architecture and/or snowflake methodologies
- Building data solutions in Microsoft Fabric
- ETL development using Azure Data Factory
- Building analytics solutions using Power BI
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based data warehouse and analytics solutions in Microsoft Azure to help clients solve complex business challenges
- Work closely with other talented database professionals & software engineers
- Work on interesting projects solving complex business problems with custom software
Preferred Qualifications
- Snowflake
- Databricks
- Other BI platforms
- Relational database design
- Stored procedures & queries for OLTP systems
- Performance tuning databases and long running queries
