Summary

The job is for a Data Architect at LanguageWire who will be responsible for re-architecting the company's data infrastructure, defining the data strategy, and collaborating with engineering teams. The role requires expertise in SQL, cloud services, data modelling, data warehousing, orchestration technology, and data lakes/data warehouses.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of cloud services (Azure & GCP) and DevOps engineering
  • Solid data modelling skills, including conceptual, logical and physical models
  • Experience with Data Warehousing (BigQuery, SnowFlake, Databricks, …)
  • Experience with Orchestration technology (Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, …)
  • Experience with Data Lakes and Data Warehouses

Responsibilities

  • Define LanguageWire’s data architecture framework, standards, and principles
  • Drive the strategy execution across the entire tech organization by closely collaborating with other teams
  • Ensure the optimal operations of LanguageWire’s products and services by supporting engineers with their databases and data needs
