Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in project management within a technical environment
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing data center technical operations
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in data center operations, including 'smart hands' tasks and technician-level work desired
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and coordinating technical resources within a data center environment
• Experience in designing and implementing data center environments and solutions is preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, reporting, and project management skills
• Must be customer-centric and work under aggressive timelines

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and assign work based on priority, skillset, and availability of data center resources, vendors, and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers)
• Ensure the quality of work meets system functional specifications based on the analysis of techniques and procedures aligned to the hardware/software supported through consultation or review with clients. Ensure testing and documentation of modified hardware computer systems upon completion of work
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for onsite data center technicians, providing guidance and next steps for complex issues
• Provide timely and accurate communications to stakeholders, including overall status, health, and business benefits tracking for programs and projects
• Ensure data center workspace cleanliness by establishing and enforcing cleanliness standards
