Join CoreWeave, a leading AI hyperscaler, as a Data Center Technician and contribute to the reliability and availability of their data center operations. This full-time, in-person role involves hardware and network diagnostics, physical repairs, and participation in an on-call rotation. You will be responsible for maintaining data center operations, conducting hardware and network diagnostics and repairs, performing root cause analysis, training internal teams, developing documentation, providing technical support, developing scripts, maintaining inventory, assembling and installing equipment, and performing maintenance of test and tools equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with computer hardware, Linux operating systems, and data center operations, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Requirements
- Computer Hardware experience (troubleshooting, assembling)
- Linux Operating System experience
- All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations
- Candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs and/or work in elevated locations
- Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and react quickly to issues
- Hands-on OR educational based experience with any of the following areas
- Computer Hardware, including troubleshooting and repair skills experience
- Minimum Five years Data Center experience (minimum)
- Computer Networking experience
- Python, Bash or other scripting languages experience
- Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
- An Associates Degree or equivalent experience in an IT related field
Responsibilities
- Maintain data center operations to ensure availability and reliability of service levels
- Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs
- Root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
- Training of internal teams
- Development of documentation
- Provide technical support to data center teams
- Development of scripts to update server and networking hardware
- Maintain inventory
- Assemble and install equipment
- Perform maintenance of test and tools equipment
- Occasional travel to other data centers as needed
