Join Productive Playhouse as a contract-based German speaker to participate in a voice recording project for search engine training. The project involves recording scripted phrases in a code-mixed format (German and English) using a provided app. The total work time is approximately 7 hours, spread out over one month, at your own pace. Payment is a one-time USD $150 fee. You will need clear diction, proficiency in German and English, and access to technology. Flexible scheduling is a benefit.

Requirements

• Proficiency in German
• Fluency in English
• Internet access
• Access to an email account
• Access to a desktop or a laptop computer

Responsibilities

• Record your own voice in a quiet environment
• Submit recordings in a timely manner
• For this audio collection project you will record a variety of spoken sentences. Through an app, you will be shown a code-mixed prompt and speak aloud a new sentence that is inspired/similar to what is on the screen instead of reading exactly what you see. It is important that the spoken sentence is also code-mixed and contains both languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Clear diction and pronunciation in the native language
• Prompt communication with the supervisor
