Requirements
- Possess a Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent education or work experience
- Have 3+ years of experience with Python, with demonstrated mastery of pandas for data manipulation and analysis
- Have 3+ years of experience with SQL
- Have experience with Git and version control systems
- Have familiarity with data visualization tools
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of data analysis, manipulation, and visualization techniques
- Be self-motivated with the ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks in a remote environment
- Possess excellent communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Have a creative mindset and a strong work ethic
- Submit a GitHub or Bitbucket repository or provide coding samples of completed projects along with your resume
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and execute projects from start to finish
- Develop and optimize Python and SQL scripts for data processing, analysis, and automation
- Assist in creating, maintaining, and enhancing data marts to support analytics and reporting
- Perform quality assurance (QA) to ensure accuracy and consistency in datasets and processes
- Validate client-provided data for quality, completeness, and integrity
- Implement robust testing and validation frameworks to ensure data quality
- Create impactful data visualizations and reports for internal stakeholders, including marketing and sales teams, with potential visibility to clients
- Automate recurring workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Actively contribute ideas during team discussions and propose innovative projects to add value to the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Have familiarity with medical or financial data analysis
- Have experience building and maintaining automated workflows
- Have experience with large-scale datasets and tools like Dask
- Have experience building Tableau dashboards
