Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent education or work experience
• Have 3+ years of experience with Python, with demonstrated mastery of pandas for data manipulation and analysis
• Have 3+ years of experience with SQL
• Have experience with Git and version control systems
• Have familiarity with data visualization tools
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of data analysis, manipulation, and visualization techniques
• Be self-motivated with the ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks in a remote environment
• Possess excellent communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Have a creative mindset and a strong work ethic
• Submit a GitHub or Bitbucket repository or provide coding samples of completed projects along with your resume

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and execute projects from start to finish
• Develop and optimize Python and SQL scripts for data processing, analysis, and automation
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and enhancing data marts to support analytics and reporting
• Perform quality assurance (QA) to ensure accuracy and consistency in datasets and processes
• Validate client-provided data for quality, completeness, and integrity
• Implement robust testing and validation frameworks to ensure data quality
• Create impactful data visualizations and reports for internal stakeholders, including marketing and sales teams, with potential visibility to clients
• Automate recurring workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Actively contribute ideas during team discussions and propose innovative projects to add value to the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Have familiarity with medical or financial data analysis
• Have experience building and maintaining automated workflows
• Have experience with large-scale datasets and tools like Dask
• Have experience building Tableau dashboards
