Summary
Join 540 as a Data Engineer to develop a data transformation and workflow solution for the U.S. Army's financial system, deploying it to the cloud and innovating new cloud-first solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of related experience
- Well-versed in Python
- Experience building and managing data pipelines
- Experience consuming data via APIs
- Experience with GitLab
- Experience building dashboards using PowerBI and/or similar data analytics tools
- Experience working via the terminal / command line
- Hands on experience using Jira and Confluence
Responsibilities
- Deploy and operate a replacement for a legacy financial system to the cloud
- Innovate new cloud-first solutions for the U.S. Armyβs data management ecosystem
- Develop a data transformation and workflow solution
- Work with multiple teams on problems that require architectural thinking and programming skills to design the system
