Summary

Join Clari's Finance and Accounting team as a Data Engineer and contribute to building and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure. You will design, implement, and optimize data workflows, ensuring data quality and security. This fully remote position, based in Poland with occasional travel to KrakΓ³w, requires strong SQL and Python skills, experience with Snowflake and dbt, and familiarity with modern data stack tools. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, ELT/ETL development or related role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and automation
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
  • Experience using dbt for data modeling and transformation
  • Familiarity with Fivetran or other ELT tools for data ingestion
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices
  • Ability to work with APIs and automate data workflows
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with ThoughtSpot or other self-service BI/analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT/ETL workflows
  • Design and implement data models in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting needs
  • Build and maintain dbt transformations for efficient data processing and modeling
  • Integrate and automate data ingestion processes using tools like Fivetran
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed
  • Collaborate with analysts, analytics engineers/BI Developers, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline performance and reliability
