Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and transformation
- Strong programming skills in Python for building ETL/ELT pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or BigQuery
- Experience working with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue, or RDS
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of data architecture and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python, SQL, and Airflow
- Work with Snowflake or BigQuery to build scalable data models and ensure high-performance querying and data transformation
- Integrate and manage data across various AWS services, ensuring data quality, security, and reliability
- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and build data solutions that support business needs
- Develop automated workflows and ensure monitoring, logging, and alerting for data pipelines
- Optimize data systems and processes for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices
- Support data governance, data quality initiatives, and compliance efforts
