Data Engineer

Summary

You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and solutions, enabling diagnostic and predictive analytics. This role requires collaboration with various departments to leverage data insights for business decisions and product improvements. Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in a similar role as a Data Engineer, Architect or DBA
• Proficiency with at least one language: Python (Java or Scala are also acceptable)
• Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases
• Experience with data warehouses, data lakes and data marts
• Experience with cloud-based, distributed systems and orchestrated ETL processes (AWS is preferred)
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources, including internal DBs, APIs, and product / marketing tracking tools
• Fluency in English
• Experience deploying cloud services using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK…)

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team that takes end-to-end responsibility for designing, building, and maintaining batch & real-time data pipelines and data solutions
• Create solutions to enable diagnostic and predictive analytics capabilities
• Research, evaluate, and propose different data solutions in an agnostic way
• Select, setup and manage tools & technologies to build and support a robust data infrastructure
• Propose and help decide on the data modelling and schema design of our data stores
• Educate data engineering best practices to all the tech teams on the company
• Deploy and maintain data infrastructure
