Data Engineer

Summary

Join League's data engineering team as a co-op and gain hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines. You'll work with Python and SQL, learn ETL processes, data warehousing, and software development, and contribute to data quality initiatives. The co-op offers exposure to real-time and batch pipelines, deployments, error handling, and performance tuning. You'll use technologies like GCP, Airflow, and Terraform. Requirements

• Exposure to data engineering projects
• Hands-on software development experience
• Previous engineering co-op experience

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines
• Learn the fundamentals of ETL processes, data warehousing, and software development
• Work with large datasets
• Participate in designing and implementing data solutions
• Contribute to data quality initiatives
• Explore cutting-edge data technologies
• Learn about real-time and batch pipelines with Python and SQL
• Handle deployments, error handling and monitoring scalability
• Perform root cause analysis of production issues, performance tuning and optimization
• Comply with Information Security Policies
• Comply with League’s secure coding practice
• Take responsibility and be accountable for executing League's policies and procedures
• Notify HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations
