Summary

Join MCG's data science team as a Data Engineer and contribute to the development of cutting-edge machine learning solutions that enhance clinical accuracy and efficiency. This involves building data pipelines, administering labeling tools, and ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate possesses strong SQL and Python skills, experience with data modeling, and a minimum of one year of data engineering experience. Requirements

  • The candidate should be able to dive deep into any problems with lots of data ambiguity, ask questions and come up with possible solutions
  • Moderate SQL skills
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • 1+ years of data engineering experience

Responsibilities

  • Work to make clinical data sets robust and consumable by building data pipelines on various clinical datasets
  • Keep data labeling and model training humming by administering internal and external tools using SQL and Python
  • Implement data quality checks
  • Support ad-hoc analysis across data sources
  • Identify and communicate possible improvements to data sourcing, labeling, and training workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare and clinical data
  • Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow/Dagster/Flyte)
  • Experience with Spark and Databricks
