Summary

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Expertise in SQL with proven skills in writing and optimizing complex queries
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using Python or similar programming languages
  • Proficiency in AWS tools, including services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and QuickSight
  • Experience building dashboards, reports, and business insights using AWS QuickSight, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of data storage strategies, including partitioning, indexing, and lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with implementing and maintaining data governance and quality processes
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling stories for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a focus on delivering results

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL-based data pipelines to support analytics and reporting
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight to provide business insights
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver data products that align with organizational goals and requirements
  • Own and enhance analytics infrastructure to ensure scalability, efficiency, and governance
  • Ensure data quality, validation, and anomaly detection to maintain accuracy and reliability
  • Implement data governance, lineage tracking, and best practices aligned with industry standards
  • Develop scripts and applications in Python or similar languages to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data handling workflows
  • Provide technical documentation, training, and enable self-service analytics for business users
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to support cross-functional data initiatives
