Data Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Data Engineer (Scala Spark) and design, develop, and maintain our big data platform with a focus on building scalable data processing systems using Scala, Spark, and other technologies within the Hadoop ecosystem.

Requirements

• 4-10 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on big data platform development
• Expertise in Scala Spark, with a strong understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem, including HBase and Hive
• Experience with streaming data architectures and technologies for real-time and low-latency data processing
• Proficiency in agile development methodologies and a solid grasp of continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) practices
• Familiarity with NoSQL technologies, including column family, graph, document, and key-value data storage solutions, is a plus
• Passion for software craftsmanship, with a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Experience in the financial industry is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
