Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in data engineering, analytics or measurement with a proven track record of leading data teams
  • Expertise in Analytics solution, SQL, ETL, data warehousing technologies, and extensive hands-on experience with Cloud services
  • Demonstrated experience in data modeling, analysis techniques, and implementing data management best practices
  • Experience with data activation on media platforms using data integrations and Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead client-facing discussions and presentations
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role, with a strong understanding of Data Analytics practices
  • Experience in data science or advanced analytics

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of data resources in designing, creating, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, architectures, and analytics solutions
  • Integrate data with media platforms by leveraging Customer Data Platforms (CDP) to enhance client capabilities
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders as the primary data engineering liaison to define project data requirements and technology stacks
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the team's solutions align with client needs
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and the adoption of data engineering and analytics best practices
  • Ensure the team's solutions utilize Cloud services effectively by optimizing data architectures for performance and scalability
  • Champion the development and implementation of data architecture frameworks, standards, and principles, covering modeling, metadata, security, and reference data
  • Oversee data security and compliance measures to ensure all data handling aligns with company policies and regulations
  • Promote continuous learning within the team, staying ahead of emerging technologies and methodologies in data engineering and analytics
