Requirements

  • Proven success operating data pipelines at a similarly sized or larger company
  • Proficiency inβ€―JVM languages, especially Kotlin
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, especially AWS
  • A positive, collaborative, can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of the Deep 6 AI data pipeline, identifying issues quickly and recommending solutions rapidly
  • Build proactive and reactive measures for supporting pipeline health, including monitoring and alerting, dashboarding/visualization, observability, and telemetry
  • Enhance the data pipeline with established data engineering core principles (e.g., observability, resilience, scalability)
  • Ensure data metrics for sufficiency and quality are captured and have visibility to all stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with the cross-functional team of execution and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the conversation of data sufficiency across all clients to support Deep 6 AI’s growing use cases, leveraging clinical, socio-demographic, performance, and other relevant data
  • Lead or support special projects, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with search frameworks, such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Familiarity with clinical data concepts, the healthcare domain, concepts and language
  • Prior remote working experience
  • Prior startup experience
  • Worked in the healthcare domain
