Data Science Apprentice

Summary

Join Brevo's dynamic team as a Data Science Apprentice, starting September 2025. This role is ideal for a final-year Master's student in a STEM field, focusing on fighting fraud within the Deliverability and Compliance Squad. You will perform data wrangling, descriptive analysis, and work on proof-of-concept algorithms. The position requires a strong understanding of the data science project lifecycle, including post-deployment monitoring. You will collaborate with data engineers and analysts, contributing to the implementation and monitoring of new ML/AI algorithms. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
• Good coding practices
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with a Cloud Environment
• Good communication skills, and being solution oriented

Responsibilities

• Perform data wrangling and descriptive analysis: exploration, auditing and data cleaning
• Work on POCs related to algorithms for fighting fraud in our platform
• Have a good overview of Data Science projects’ lifecycle, especially on post-deployment topics: monitoring, alerting, maintenance
• Monitor new technologies on a regular basis and be a source of proposals as part of its strategic projects
• Work with data engineers and data analysts to achieve the business goals
• Contribute to the implementation of new ML / AI algorithms and ensure the right deployment and monitoring thereof
• Integrate an experienced team of Data Scientists and Software Engineers who collaborate to efficiently fight fraud on Brevo platform

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge on Deep Learning and GenIA is a plus
