This paid internship offers the opportunity to conduct in-depth data analysis, design and maintain product components, and develop machine learning algorithms. You will work with structured and unstructured data, implement data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The internship is remote, requires immediate availability, and lasts six months. No college credit is offered.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelorโ€™s/Masterโ€™s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science)
  • Strong programming skills in Python (including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong scripting and test automation abilities
  • Available for the work from home job/internship
  • Can start internship Immediately
  • Are available for a duration of 6 months
  • Have relevant skills and interests

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and key insights
  • Design, code, and maintain parts of the product and drive customer adoption
  • Work with structured and unstructured (text) data, performing extensive exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering
  • Develop and validate statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve real-world business problems
  • Implement and maintain data pipelines, ensuring scalability and performance
  • Utilize Python and relevant open-source libraries for data processing, visualization, and predictive modeling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and product development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Run and fine-tune open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) for NLP tasks (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience with text data processing (e.g., NLP, regex, tokenization) is a plus
  • Prior exposure to open-source LLMs (e.g., Llama, Mistral) is a plus
