Data Scientist

Join our team as a Data Scientist to help us unlock insights from vast amounts of structured and unstructured data, and make smarter decisions to solve business problems. As a key member of our team, you will apply data mining techniques, do statistical analysis, and build high-quality prediction systems integrated with our solutions.

Requirements

• PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or other related fields
• Real world experience of solving business problems using machine learning, data mining, data analysis
• Data-oriented personality
• Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
• Experience with common data science toolkits (such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc.)
• Great communication skills
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc

Responsibilities

• Enhance data collection procedures to include information relevant for building analytic systems
• Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
• Define approaches for data mining
• Extend company's data with third party sources of information when needed
• Do ad-hoc analysis and R&D involving operating heterogeneous data sets
• Create automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
