Requirements

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field with 2+ years of work experience or Bachelors with 5+ years of work experience as a data scientist or data engineer
• Experience with experimental design and analysis
• Proficient in SQL & business intelligence tools
• Competency in Python, R, or another scripting language
• Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data
• Ability to analyze and condense data to tell a persuasive story
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Product teams to generate insights that drive improvements in key business metrics such as growth, revenue, and engagement
• Build and maintain internal dashboards to monitor the health of product and business performance, delivering timely and actionable insights
• Deliver ad-hoc analyses and reports to support business needs, investigate, triage, and resolve metrics-based issues independently
• Design and analyze experiments and observational studies to produce actionable insights and drive product optimizations
• Develop compelling data narratives and presentations to inspire teams and stakeholders to take informed actions
• Develop quantitative methods and models to measure and improve the effectiveness of user experience and experiments
