Data Scientist

Summary

Join ServiceNow as a Data Scientist and develop actionable insights from analysis to provide recommendations on key strategic initiatives. You will create visual dashboards, analyze business process data, and generate reports. The role involves using internal analytics tools, leveraging AI in work processes, and working with LLMs. You will develop and analyze key metrics using dashboards. Success requires a Master's degree in a Data Science-related field and at least two years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
• M.Sc. with Thesis in Data Science related field (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or a similar role, successfully delivering ML/Data solutions
• Experience using Python for data science and machine learning, including hands-on familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn. Experience working with complex codebases and quick to learn new tools, libraries, and paradigms as needed
• Practical experience working with LLMs (e.g. prompt engineering) and classic ML/NLP techniques to create high-quality solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Independence and ownership, ability to come up with innovative solutions and evaluate them quickly
• Experience with experimental design, data manipulation, analysis, visualization and developing evaluation metrics for ML models
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop actionable insights from analysis to make recommendations on key strategic initiatives such as Digital Transformation and Healthscan
• Develop visual and interactive dashboards that provide insights and track progress on key strategic initiatives
• Analyze critical business process data, and trends leveraging data from dashboards and other internal data sources to analyze process data and generate reports and insights on findings
• Create, deliver and analyze key metrics using dashboards
• Learn and become and SME using our internal analytics tool (Performance Analytics)
