Summary
Join Stitch Fix's Experimentation team as a Data Scientist and Experimentation Expert, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to advance the experimentation process and platform. Requirements
- Have 3-5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on experimentation and causal inference
- Have an advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Be proficient in Python and SQL
- Have a strong understanding of experimental design, A/B testing, and statistical analysis techniques
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Have exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience
- Have experience working autonomously and taking ownership of projects
- Possess a rigorous focus on simple solutions that yield business impact
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical business partners alike, and who are interested in building strong cross-functional relationships
- Have a desire to question the status quo and promote innovative solutions to challenging problems

- Influence roadmaps for and own highly visible, high-traffic platforms

Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience working in the e-commerce or retail industry
- Have knowledge of machine learning techniques and their applications in experimentation
- Have knowledge of Golang and full stack development experience is a plus
- Have experience using a production experimentation platform
- Be familiar with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
