Join a team of data specialists at ConnectOS, Australia's largest independent publishing business, as a Data Scientist. Lead the development of predictive models and advanced analytics to understand user behavior and content trends. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, reporting tools, and dashboards. Collaborate with various teams to implement data-driven strategies. Champion A/B testing and experimentation to optimize content performance. Contribute to the architecture and integrity of the data warehouse. Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders. This role requires 5+ years in data science, advanced proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, and experience with various GCP tools and technologies. The monthly salary ranges from P150,000 to P180,000.
Requirements
- 5+ years in data science, with a strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data manipulation
- 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role
- Advanced proficiency in Python , R , and SQL
- Skilled with Tableau , Power BI , or Looker Studio
- Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks , Git , and Agile workflows
- Excellent communication skillsβyou can explain complex insights to anyone
- Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Math, or a related field
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including: BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Google Colab, Looker Studio, Analytics 360, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ad Manager, Apache Airflow, Databricks
- Data modeling and database design, including partitioning strategies for large tables
- GCP security, monitoring, and maintenance
