Summary
Join Xebia, a global leader in digital solutions, and become a key member of our team. We are seeking a highly skilled data analyst with 5+ years of experience to conduct descriptive and diagnostic analysis, identify trends, and prepare reports and visualizations. You will use advanced analytics techniques to improve predictive capabilities, lead quantitative experimentation, and boost data-driven culture. This role requires expertise in digital analytics, SQL, and Python or R, along with excellent communication skills. The position is based in the European Union and requires a work permit.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in analytics or data science
- Experience working closely with multi-functional product teams in a digital environment
- Be adept at working with large datasets and highly proficient in SQL
- Knowledge of Python or R, enhancing your ability to conduct analysis and derive insights
- Have hands-on experience with experimentation methods such as A/B testing and possess a keen understanding of statistical and causal analysis
- Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English), allowing you to convey complex findings in a clear and concise manner
Responsibilities
- Identify users and customers insights by conducting Descriptive & Diagnostic Analysis
- Identify, analyze, interpret trends or patterns, prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations (e.g., charts, dashboards, heat maps) and extract knowledge and insights in order to support business decisions, strategic planning, optimize effectiveness and/or predict business outcomes
- Use a variety of advanced analytics techniques in order to improve the predictive capability and detect patterns to user segmentation
- Boost quantitative experimentation (AB Test, smoke test,...) in teams by leading the proper scientific method application and conducting the deep analysis
- Be an expert in digital analytics both for the definition of the tagging plan and for the measurement of the site, impact campaign and user behavior by supporting Prod, UX & Mkt Teams
- Boost the data-driven culture in teams
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in statistics, computer science, econometrics, economics, or a related quantitative field
- Curiosity for understanding user behavior, coupled with your initiative and drive
- Understanding the interplay of data, product and tech, and exploring possibilities in this space energizes you
- Experience in e-commerce or similar companies is a plus
