Summary

Join Liftoff, a leading growth acceleration platform for the mobile industry, as a Data Systems Lead. You will design and oversee data architecture, implement a Master Data Management (MDM) strategy, and drive data governance initiatives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration. You will develop and implement MDM strategies, design scalable data architecture, create and uphold data governance policies, and lead data cleanup and automation initiatives. The position offers a full-time remote work option with potential travel and a competitive compensation package including equity and health benefits.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in data architecture, database management, or data warehousing
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA/MIS preferred)
  • Expertise in SQL, data modeling, reporting and ETL processes
  • Knowledge of databases like Snowflake, Redis, MongoDB Atlas, and MemSQL
  • Proven skills in data mapping, analysis, and quality management
  • Solid proficiency in reporting tools, data visualization, and actionable analytics
  • Experience with data governance and performance measurement tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a MDM strategy to ensure data quality, integrity, and ownership organization-wide
  • Design and manage a scalable data architecture framework to support data integration, storage, and reporting needs
  • Create and uphold data governance policies and best practices to ensure high-quality data management practices across all business units
  • Lead data cleanup, automation, and integration initiatives to optimize processes
  • Oversee data quality management to ensure accurate reliable data for operations and decision-making
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for BI solutions and adoption
  • Design and maintain data warehouses, marts, and analytical structures to support reporting and BI applications
  • Develop and enhance reporting tools and visualizations to drive business insights
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including data dictionaries, processes, and project plans
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to align data solutions with evolving business objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Salesforce dashboards and analytics apps preferred
  • Remarkable analytical skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights

Benefits

  • Full compensation package that includes equity and health/vision/dental benefits associated with your country of residence
  • Base compensation will vary based on candidate location and experience
  • SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County: $145,000 - $170,000 plus bonus
  • Seattle/Olympia, Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston: $135,000 - $155,000 plus bonus
  • All other cities and towns in our approved states: $125,000 - $145,000 plus bonus
  • Full-time remote work in one of our entities
