Data Visualization Engineer

Summary

Join Feedzai's Data Visualization group and contribute to creating insightful and accessible data experiences for fraud analysts and data scientists. As a Data Visualization Engineer, you will work on the entire project lifecycle, from user research to prototyping interfaces. You will collaborate with various teams, advocate for best practices, and explore new visualization techniques. You'll present your work to internal and external stakeholders and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions. This role requires proficiency in user research, modern web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, ReactJS), data visualization theory, and Git. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions in the field of data visualization and help stop financial crime.

Requirements

• Proficiency in user research
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS web standards used to produce user friendly interfaces and data visualizations
• Knowledge of ReactJS
• Experience in applying data visualization theory and best practices to develop creative data visualizations with a user-centered approach
• Experience with GIT
• Ability to evaluate and incorporate feedback from different stakeholders to improve your data visualizations

Responsibilities

• Work on the entire project development lifecycle from user research to prototyping interfaces that translate complex data into actionable insights
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, UX designers, and Front-end developers, to deliver innovative visualizations and data experiences that contribute to improve the experience of our users
• Be an advocate for the application of Data Visualization best practices throughout the company
• Have a Research mindset and be interested in learning new techniques, sharing them, and contributing to the research community
• Presenting your outputs to various audiences — from internal stakeholders to clients/users
• Participating in knowledge sharing sessions with other Research team members

Preferred Qualifications
