Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Documented experience in similar roles, with a focus on data visualization and storytelling
- 3-4+ years of experience in data visualization or a related field
- Proven experience with data visualization tools, more specifically in Power BI
- Experience working with large data sets
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices
- Background in working with various types of data, especially financial and manufacturing data
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI)
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Proficiency in DAX
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
- Creative thinker capable of developing innovative visual solutions
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and clarity
- Effective communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Results-driven and committed to delivering high-impact visualizations
- Eager to continuously learn and adopt new technologies and practices
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data visualization needs
- Translate complex data sets and analytical results into clear, understandable visualizations
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in all visual representations
- Develop and document data visualization standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging visualization tools and techniques
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing visualizations for improved performance and user experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and visualization
