Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Documented experience in similar roles, with a focus on data visualization and storytelling
  • 3-4+ years of experience in data visualization or a related field
  • Proven experience with data visualization tools, more specifically in Power BI
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices
  • Background in working with various types of data, especially financial and manufacturing data
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI)
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Proficiency in DAX
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
  • Creative thinker capable of developing innovative visual solutions
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and clarity
  • Effective communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Results-driven and committed to delivering high-impact visualizations

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data visualization needs
  • Translate complex data sets and analytical results into clear, understandable visualizations
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in all visual representations
  • Develop and document data visualization standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging visualization tools and techniques
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing visualizations for improved performance and user experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and visualization
