Summary

Join one of the top privacy-first omnichannel ad platforms and gaming companies as a Data Warehouse Engineer. You will work with operational, business, financial, and other KPI data, designing architecture and data models, developing and testing ETL processes, and implementing the data warehouse. The position is available with a hybrid working model in our Berlin or Hamburg offices or with a fully remote model throughout the EU!

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of SQL experience; having a foundation in writing and interpreting SQL queries is essential, with the expectation of crafting and handling more complex queries
• 3+ years of experience in Big-data platforms and ETL tools like BigQuery, Trino, GitHub, Airflow, Python
• Strong knowledge and wide range of experience in Python development including Airflow development and in-depth knowledge of BigQuery or alternative cloud-based database
• Advanced ETL expertise with a comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in ETL processes
• Proactive, autonomous go-getter who prioritizes tasks independently and takes ownership
• Ability to work cross-departmentally
• Good working level of English language

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, and maintain the data warehouse and self-service business intelligence reporting solutions
• Maintain the current data warehouse and shape its evolution by adopting new technologies under the guidance of a mentor
• Help to build the next-generation reporting data warehouse pipeline with robust and steady data flow with efficient costs
• Provide technical expertise on Google Cloud Platforms Big Data technologies including BigQuery, Looker, Dataflow, Cloud Composer
• Coordinate with business departments, analysts and systems engineering; lead automation, implement review code
• Deliver high-quality results, meet timelines, and be agile
• Make appropriate recommendations on the management of data extraction, and analysis
