Requirements

  • Have an appetite to cover a wide spectrum of game systems and become a core knowledgebase to support the development team
  • Have the ability to decipher 3D math, concepts and apply it to primitive rendering concepts for visualizations
  • Have proven experience in debugging and troubleshooting software systems
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Have familiarity with diagnostic tools and methodologies
  • Have experience with Unreal Engine

Responsibilities

  • Create internal tools that assist in problem solving, improve developer ease to maintain, and identify issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot
  • Perform in-depth debugging and analysis of system failures
  • Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve technical problems
  • Develop, modify, and debug gameplay software in script and C/C++
  • Assist in the development and implementation of system improvement strategies
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify issues in a timely manner
