Deep Learning Data Engineering Intern

Summary

The Data Engineering Intern will work on a growing company's suite of generative AI tools for VFX by curating, developing, and deploying multi-modal datasets. The role involves assisting the data team at various stages of projects supporting the ML pipeline and partnering with other teams to understand data requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, machine learning, computer vision, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience preparing large datasets for deep learning and neural network models
• Experience with data collection, labeling, and cleaning using various tools
• Data labeling, annotation and curation for multimodal datasets
• Experience automating data preparation and data upload to software platforms like Encord
• Experience with building ML pipelines to automate label or model predictions imports
• Experience with tools like Flyte, Airflow or Kubeflow

Responsibilities

• Assist the data team at various stages of projects supporting our ML pipeline
• Curation, development, and deployment of multi-modal datasets for our ML models

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Computer Science with focus in Machine Learning or Computer Vision
• 2+ years experience with Python, Pytorch or Tensorflow
