UI Engineer Intern

Summary

The job is for a UI Engineer Intern at DRW, where the intern will build web applications using cutting-edge technology to assist traders and researchers. The intern will work under the guidance of UI technologists and collaborate with other teams. The expected graduation date is between December 2025 and June 2026.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics or any related science discipline and have an expected graduation date between December 2025. and June 2026
• Exhibit excellent software development skills in TypeScript, Python, HTML, and CSS
• Have experience building reusable components with React, creating visualizations using Dash, working with both live and historical data sources within the browser, or troubleshooting UI performance problems
• Have strong understanding of functional programming, data structures, and algorithms

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions across the firm
• Collaborate with trading desks to design and build intuitive workflows that enhance efficiency and meet the specific needs of end-users
