Responsibilities

• Performs highly advanced (senior-level) work, in alignment with the Chief Information Officer (CIO), administering the daily operations and activities of the Texas Water Development Board’s Information Technology (IT) Division
• Develops guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations for the IT Division
• Develops schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving established goals in the IT Division
• Coordinates and evaluates the work of IT Division staff
• Develops and evaluates budget requests for the IT Division
• Monitors budget expenditures in the IT Division
• Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of others in the IT Division
• Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
• Reports to the CIO of the Information Technology Division
