Design Engineer

Summary

Edge & Node is a web3 innovation company focused on establishing The Graph as the foundation of open data. They are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to help build highly polished pages, collaborate on UI components, prototype end-to-end designs, and gather feedback to iterate on their product. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual thinking, exceptional craftsmanship, deep understanding of web technologies, intermediate or advanced knowledge of React and TypeScript, and a disciplined process for creating and documenting UI components.

Requirements

• A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing strong conceptual thinking and exceptional craftsmanship across various projects
• Deep understanding of the fundamental technologies of the web (HTML, CSS, JS)
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of React and TypeScript

Responsibilities

• Building highly polished pages that paint the picture of our vision and direction using frameworks like Next.js
• Collaborating on UX/UI patterns and building accessible, performant, and developer-friendly components using React, Typescript, and the latest web technologies
• Prototyping end-to-end high-fidelity UI designs to visualize product experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, Next.js
