Design Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Design Engineer at Vetcove, a growing eCommerce platform for veterinary supplies. The role involves working closely with the design team to improve user experiences and implement new features on desktop and mobile applications. The ideal candidate has experience with React, CSS, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in software development, including experience in building a professionally successful production application using React

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with product designers in designing new features
• Bring Figma designs to life by implementing modular, reusable React components
• Implement interactions using highly flexible and performant CSS code
• Experiment with animations and micro-interactions that are best prototyped through code
• Work closely with the front end engineering team to bridge front end logic with design

A passion for pets is always a big plus, but certainly not required!
