Requirements

  • Experience of working in a Technical Sales role, ideally in a similar industry
  • A proven interest in engineering and design with a natural curiosity
  • A love of building long and lasting relationships with people at all levels
  • The ability to manage your own time and priorities efficiently and proactively
  • A willingness to develop and grow your skills - we’d welcome your application if you are looking for the next step to enhance your experiences
  • A full driving license and the ability to travel throughout the South of England, ideally living on patch

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering and design solutions within the specialist area of Pavement Engineering
  • Work closely with the external sales teams, becoming the ‘go-to’ for technical design advice
  • Get out, alongside the external sales team, to a wide range of customers and internal stakeholders to confidently deliver information
  • Create technical proposals
  • Build and deliver engineering-focused CPD presentations
  • Provide support to the resolution of on-site issues
  • Support the development of new products, systems and design methodology
  • Develop a network of contacts and relationships within the engineering community
  • Share your knowledge and best practice and come up with new ideas

Preferred Qualifications

A Civil Engineering related degree or working towards a relevant professional qualification with a good understanding of constructions standards such as; DMRB, specification for highway works, BS 7533 Design Standards, SuDS design manuals (CIRIA SuDS manual e.g.) would be beneficial
