Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in developer relations and advocacy
  • Experience with multiple programming languages - Java, Go, Python, and Node.js
  • Prior developer experience, preferably working on an infrastructure project
  • Existing network from a diverse set of communities and social media platforms
  • Experience and knowledge of open source workflow, projects, and culture
  • Self-driven to identify opportunities to make things better and more efficient at Phyllo
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write detailed technical documents
  • Ability to work in a high growth and rapidly scaling work environment

Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain our developer documentation as the best representation of our API products
  • Ideate, write, and optimize technical content and documentation
  • Develop content that promotes engagement with developers, solving their problems, and using the product
  • Competitive analysis to assess how we can always lead the industry with powerful, engaged, thoughtful, and surprising advocacy and engagement
  • Building relationships within the industry and community to be their representative for Phyllo in helping to engage, be successful, and deliver great work and collaboration
  • Working with product, engineering, and marketing teams to help support your and their success
  • Being active in other communities and platforms to help foster collaboration and relationships with other communities and organizations
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and solve complex problems
