Developer Advocate

Summary

The job is for a Developer Advocate at Reka, responsible for driving adoption of the company's AI-enabled platform, establishing relationships with developers worldwide, creating technical resources, advocating for developer needs internally, and influencing the roadmap. The position requires strong creativity, communication skills, hands-on experience building AI products, a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, and at least 3 years of software engineering, technical product management, or equivalent experience.

Requirements

• Hands on experience building AI-enabled products
• Comfortable across the stack from web development to Python
• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years experience in software engineering, technical product management, or equivalent
• Experience speaking at events and writing technical documentation

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of our platform and API for developers building AI-enabled products
• Champion our product in person and online at conferences and meetups
• Organize and intervene in events such as hackathons
• Create new technical resources such as tutorials, case studies, or blog posts
• Advocate for developer needs internally
• Identify gaps in our offering and gather insights to inform our roadmap
• Develop strategic partnerships to grow our community
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to developers
• Identify developer issues, take ownership, and help resolve them in a scalable way

Preferred Qualifications

Contribution to open source projects is a plus
