Summary

Alimentiv is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join their team in a home-based position. The candidate will help enhance existing products and create new solutions for global customers in the life sciences industry. A strong academic background or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in Node.js, Python, SQL, and cloud-based development (AWS preferred). Knowledge of Medical Imaging/Image Processing, Apache/NGINX, Perl, Scala, Agile development methodologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning, software as medical device (SaMD) are beneficial.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, College diploma or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in Node.js / Javascript, Python, HTML, CSS, Angular / React
• Proficient in the use of SQL and relational databases like MySQL & Postgres
• Skilled in cloud-based development (e.g. AWS (preferred) /Azure/Google)
• Basic Linux system administration experience
• Experience with standard development methodologies, revision control and bug tracking systems like Github or Bitbucket

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Medical Imaging / Image Processing: use of DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) standards, OpenSlide
• Working knowledge of Apache / NGINX
• Hands on experience with Perl and Scala
• Have worked with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, software as medical device (SaMD)
