Summary
Join our team as a Developer I and contribute to the development and maintenance of our web applications. You will troubleshoot and fix automated scripts, work on a maintenance queue, and contribute to new enhancements through sprints. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. You will need to be proficient in C#, SQL, and Javascript. This is a remote position.
Requirements
- A recent AS or BS degree in an IT related field, or 1 year of professional experience
- Ability to pass basic level C# and SQL coding exercise
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers
- Attention to detail, and a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Languages Required: C#, SQL, Javascript
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and fixing web automated scripts
- Working on a maintenance queue of work
- Working on new enhancements through sprints
- Learn the product and code base of the Tax Team
- Perform SQL queries as needed for debugging, research, and custom reports
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of software development processes and project management is a plus
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles is a plus
- Knowledge of payroll and payroll tax is a plus
