Java Web Developer

Summary

The job is for a Java/Web Developer with at least B1 German level to work remotely on challenging applications for major organizations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining large-scale applications, team collaboration, adhering to software quality requirements, and drafting technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent working experience
• Enthusiasm for programming and knowledge of Java
• Quality- and team-oriented
• Knowledge of German (at least B1) and English

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and implementation of advanced web-based applications
• Design, develop, test, and maintain large-scale applications
• Ensure effective team collaboration
• Adhere to software quality requirements
• Draft technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Java, front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular), web services (REST or SOAP), Spring Boot, micro-services, object-relational mapping (e.g. Hibernate), XML and/or databases (e.g. SQL) desired
