Summary

Abacus Works is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to work on Hyperlane, a permissionless interoperability layer between blockchains. Key responsibilities include developing tutorials, simplifying developer onboarding, contributing to tooling development, organizing events, and engaging in the product feedback loop. Qualifications include 2+ years of production-level TypeScript experience, knowledge of Rust, Solidity, and familiarity with EVM, CosmWasm, and Sealevel execution environments, and 2+ years of experience working on developer platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tutorials, example applications, and guides to help developers use Hyperlane
• Simplify developer onboarding with comprehensive materials and serve as the main contact for support and guidance
• Contribute to Hyperlane's tooling development, like the CLI
• Organize workshops, hackathons, and attend conferences to increase Hyperlane's visibility in the crypto community
• Engage in the product feedback loop by staying updated with launches, assisting with community projects, and refining content to improve Hyperlane's accessibility
• Use developer feedback to guide Hyperlane's developer acquisition strategy, aiming to boost platform visibility and utility

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Rust, Solidity, and familiarity with EVM, CosmWasm, and Sealevel execution environments is a plus

Benefits

Salary range for this role is $130K to $250K USD (NY). Compensation subject to experience and location
