Development Intern

Summary

Join Act's Advancement Team as a development intern to support research on foundations and grants, and gain experience in development skills, event planning, and career guidance.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the Advancement team through research on foundations and potential grants that may be a fit for the organization
• Help with research on topics that relate to our work, such as studying trends in things like the effect of violence on the social determinants of health, economic mobility and educational outcomes, as well as the costs of crime and violence to communities
• Report to the VP of Advancement and serve on the Advancement team
