Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in system operations (Linux), focusing on modern tech stacks, CI/CD pipelines, and efficient cloud operations (preferably on Microsoft Azure)
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitLab CI/CD
  • Expertise in building and managing containers (Docker) on Kubernetes clusters (AKS)
  • Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep for reusable and scalable infrastructure management
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and optimization
  • Familiarity with the Azure Advanced Analytics/AI stack and service meshes in Kubernetes
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Resilient, reliable, and capable of working effectively under pressure
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
  • Fluent English and German language skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab (migration in progress) to streamline software delivery
  • Support development teams in software deployment processes across OpenShift environments using Docker and Helm
  • Monitor system performance, manage dashboards with Grafana/Prometheus, and ensure robust observability and incident response
  • Automate infrastructure and software installation routines, contributing to system reliability and repeatability
  • Manage secure handling of certificates, secrets, and credentials through Vault and enforce best practices in operational security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve microservices-based architecture and communication workflows

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Java development (Spring Boot, JUnit, TDD) is a plus , aiding in better collaboration with development teams and understanding of application internals
