Summary

Join AnaVation as a DevOps Engineer and play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our software development and deployment process. You will maintain and improve the CI/CD pipeline, leverage technologies like Rancher and Helm, automate infrastructure provisioning, and implement security best practices. This hybrid position (mostly remote) requires an active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access. Responsibilities include managing the CI/CD pipeline, automating infrastructure, and monitoring system performance. AnaVation offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • At least 8 years of DevOps or Software Development experience; able to approach existing projects, fix bugs, add features, and streamline processes
  • Familiarity with Python - pipenv, pex, or similar Python packaging tools
  • Familiarity with C/C++ - cmake, Makefiles, or familiar enough to debug when issues arise
  • Familiarity with Docker
  • Familiarity with Database Development - postgreSQL, or similar experience
  • Familiarity with Shell Scripting
  • Experience with CI/CD using Atlassian Bamboo
  • Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the CI/CD pipeline
  • Leverage technologies like Rancher and Helm to streamline deployments and testing
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code principles and tools
  • Monitor system performance to identify potential bottlenecks and implement solutions for optimization and scalability
  • Implement and maintain security best practices within the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure
  • Perform light network administration duties to maintain test network
  • Manage independent network and coordinate with primary network administrators

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with government mission functions
  • Familiarity with automating analysis at scale (i.e., reverse engineering with IDA Pro/Ghidra/Binja)
