Summary

Join Bloomerang as a DevOps Engineer and contribute to modernizing our platform infrastructure and internal tooling. You will be responsible for infrastructure projects, incident response, setting up monitoring/alerting, assisting with CI/CD pipelines, and participating in server migrations and VPN implementation. This fully remote position requires cloud expertise (AWS), Linux or Windows server administration, experience with monitoring and alerting, CI/CD practices, scripting proficiency, and project management ticketing system knowledge. Requirements

  • Mindfulness for the internal developer experience of processes and tooling
  • Cloud expertise (AWS)
  • Linux or Windows server OS administration
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting system configurations
  • CI/CD practices and automation tools
  • Scripting language proficiency
  • Bash, PowerShell, Python
  • Project management ticketing systems for task delegation, e.g. Jira
  • Git proficiency and version/source control tools, e.g. Github, Bitbucket

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for infrastructure related projects
  • Respond to incidents and other issues as part of an on-call rotation
  • Set up monitoring/alerting as needed, to ensure the uptime and reliability of the application infrastructure
  • Assist with building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines
  • Assist in a migration from Windows servers to Linux for .NET Core
  • Help Implement a new VPN system
  • Streamline and enhance deployment strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud Experience (GCP, Azure)
  • IaC expertise, e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation, AWS CDK
  • ExpGrafana, Graylog, Kibana, Stackdriver, Datadog, etc
  • Containerization and orchestration
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
