DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join Encora as a DevOps Engineer and contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our CI/CD processes for C and C++ projects. You will configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory, implement automation using Python and Shell scripts, and maintain build scripts using CMake and Make. Your responsibilities also include managing project dependencies, collaborating with development teams, monitoring pipeline performance, and documenting processes. This work-from-home position in Brazil requires experience with Jenkins CI/CD, build tools, package managers, and version control systems. Highly desirable skills include DevOps certifications and experience with containers and orchestration.

Requirements

• Experience in Jenkins CI/CD and build automation (highly desired for C and C++ projects)
• Knowledge of build tools such as CMake, Make
• Proficiency in package managers like Conan
• Strong knowledge of version control systems, especially Git
• Ability to solve complex build and integration issues
• Experience with different development environments (Linux, Windows)

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Conan
• Implement automation using Python and Shell scripts
• Maintain and fix build scripts using CMake, Make, Conan, among others
• Manage project dependencies using Conan and other package managers
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve build and integration issues
• Monitor and optimize the performance of build and deployment pipelines
• Document processes, configurations, and problem-solving solutions
• Stay updated with best practices and new technologies in the field of DevOps and CI/CD

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in DevOps or related fields
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD security and DevSecOps practices
• Understanding of concepts such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and other security testing methodologies
• Experience with Tenable Nessus and BlackDuck scanning
• Experience with penetration testing
